Boaza (Garvanovo) Waterfall

Description

Natural landmark "Boaza", declared as such by Order No. 3796 of 11.10.1965, issue 12/1966 of the State Gazette.  - ZM "Boaza"

Note: The place has been explored and no waterfalls have been found along the course of the Banska River, only rapids with a height of 1 m., while the abovementioned order mentions a height of 2 m. It remains an unsolved mystery where exactly the waterfall is located, for which the natural landmark was declared. The coordinates are of a lateral seasonal tributary, where a rocky ridge with the potential presence of a waterfall has been noticed on satellite images. Verification is required.
